College & Career Resource Center

The College & Career Resource Center (CCRC) is ready to help you explore and prepare for college, career, vocational, and military opportunities. Open daily from 7:45 to 3:45, students are welcome to visit before or after school, during a study hall, or lunch. All students must scan their IDs when entering the CCRC. We look forward to working with you!

Resources & services include:

  • Individual appointments with the College & Career Counselor
  • Programs for students and their families including the annual College Fair, Understanding Financial Aid Nights, Understanding the Next Steps, and more
    • Visit the College and Career Resources page for video links to the recorded presentations during the current school year.
  • Assistance completing applications, sending transcripts, and test scores
  • Access to MaiaLearning, a comprehensive website to assist students individually with college & career preparation, career planning, and self-exploration
  • Reference materials including material about specific colleges and top-rated books, including the Fiske Guide to Colleges, College Admissions Data Sourcebooks (by region), and Colleges that Changes Lives
  • Workshops for essays, applications, and financial aid
  • Free full-day bus trip to visit local colleges
  • Ask the Expert Day, when professionals speak with students during their regularly scheduled class time, a Career Exploration Day, and a Career Fair
  • More than 200 college representative visits throughout the school year

College Rep Visits
If you would like to attend a college rep visit and have a class, you will need a signed orange teacher permission pass - passes are available in the CCRC in Room 1120.
