Senior Activities and Celebrations

Senior Prom is open to Niles West seniors and juniors and their pre-approved guests.

Guest Form
A prom guest may be a Niles West freshman or sophomore or a student outside of District 219 who is under 19 years-old. Please complete the Prom Guest Form by the deadline for approval.

All eligible students must be registered and pre-approved. Niles West students may contact their assistant principal for questions about eligibility.

*You must check in together with your registered guest at the event.

Seniors and juniors can register and pay for prom via Omella. You must use your school email account to access registration. 

What if my registration does not work?
Students have who lost social privileges are not yet eligible to attend the event. If you receive the message “Please enter a valid email address to continue,” please contact your assistant principal for information.

Parking
Loews has a paid parking garage. Self-parking is $10 per vehicle. Bring your parking ticket with you when you check in to receive special pricing. 

School-provided transportation is available only on an individual, as-needed basis. Contact your counselor or the Student Activities Office for information.

Entry
Doors open at 5:30pm. Prom begins at 6:00pm and ends at 10:00 pm.

• We expect all guests to arrive by 6:15 pm. Dinner is served at 6:30 pm.
• Registered students and guests only need to bring a school ID to enter. You do not need to bring extra money.
• Guests are not required to stay for the entire event. If you leave prom, there is no re-entry to the event.

Prom is a formal event that's full of celebrating with friends and making memories before graduation. Expect an elegant atmosphere with ballrooms for dining and dancing, a DJ, and a photo booth and backdrop for photos. Plated dinners will be served on linen-covered tables.

What should I wear?
Niles West students choose the prom theme each year. You are not required to dress in the theme, but you are welcome to dress your best in your own personal style.

What will I eat?
The ticket price includes appetizers, entree and dessert. When registering for prom, students will select their meal from options that meet a variety of dietary needs and preferences. 

What type of music will I hear?
A professional DJ will play a variety of music throughout the evening. Students are invited to submit recommendations in advance!
